The Scholarship Committee of the Indiana Athletic Trainers' Association (IATA) may award a total of three $1000 scholarships to deserving athletic training students who are IATA members.

The Scholarship Committee may also award annually one $1,000 Diversity Scholarship to a student with an ethnic or socially diverse background studying athletic training in a CAATE approved athletic training education program in the State of Indiana

The Research Committee of the IATA may annually awards one $1000 research grant to certified athletic trainers in an effort to promote scholarly research in Indiana.



    Professional and Post Professional Scholarships

    The Education Committee of the Indiana Athletic Trainers' Association may award a total of three $1000 scholarships to deserving graduate athletic training students who are IATA members. Typically, two scholarships (Dwayne Dixon Professional Education Scholarship and Robert S. Behnke Professional Education Scholarship) are awarded to IATA student members pursuing a degree in athletic training at a CAATE-accredited program, and one scholarship (John Schrader Post-Professional Scholarship) is awarded to a certified athletic trainer pursuing a graduate degree.

    Diversity Scholarship

    The Scholarship Committee of the Indiana Athletic Trainer’s Association (IATA) will award one $1,000 scholarship to a deserving graduate athletic training student of an ethnic or social diverse background pursuing a college degree in athletic training at a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) entry-level accredited college within the State of Indiana.

    Research Grants

    The Indiana Athletic Trainers' Association annually funds one $1000 Grant opportunity to encourage and promote study in the field of Athletic Training in the state of Indiana. Any certified athletic trainer who is an IATA member and is employed or is attending graduate school within the state of Indiana is eligible to apply. The deadline to apply is March 1.
