ISMA-Committee of Sports
| The Indiana State Medical Association supports a Committee on Sports Medicine (COSM). This committee is comprised of sports medicine physicians and includes a representative from the IATA (currently the President) and an assistant commissioner from the IHSAA as non-voting members. The role of this committee is to review sports medicine issues and concerns that arise within the state of Indiana. |
IHSAA Sports Medicine
| The IHSAA has a SMAC that address sports medicine and safety issues surrounding high school athletics in Indiana. This committee is comprised of 16 members including 9 physicians, 3 athletic trainer members that are appointed by the IATA and 3 athletic directors from each member district of the IHSAA. |
