The Indiana State Medical Association supports a Committee on Sports Medicine (COSM). This committee is comprised of sports medicine physicians and includes a representative from the IATA (currently the President) and an assistant commissioner from the IHSAA as non-voting members. The role of this committee is to review sports medicine issues and concerns that arise within the state of Indiana.
