SecretaryKristin Cardin, MS, LAT, ATC Community Health Network Kristin passed her BOC exam through the internship route to become an Athletic Trainer in 1995 after finding her passion for this great profession in her undergrad at Colgate University. Her early career allowed her to work and travel in D1 collegiate athletics at Marist College (NY) and then Fairfield University (CT). As her personal family priorities took precedence, her later career choice in Indianapolis was a decade of PRN work in area middle and high schools and colleges, often chosen for large events like NFL combine training, NCAA Lax playoffs, Big 10 tournaments. Kristin returned to FT work at a Sports Medicine Physician office, before returning to a large HS and her current role in Junior High. Professional choices have always allowed focus on her first priority of family, her two college-aged sons, whatever life stage they were. An empty-nester, Kristin has found time to give more back to this profession that has given her so much through the almost 3 decades, through volunteering in the IATA for ATs Care and now as Secretary. Outside of work hours, Kristin spends her time traveling, to visit her sons, never missing a football game home or away, as her oldest plays his final football season at University of Indianapolis, and the younger at Ole Miss, family(mostly on the east coast), and friends all over from alma mater Colgate at homecomings and reunions anywhere. | TreasurerTiffany Franklin, EdD, LAT, ATC Franklin College Dr. Franklin has been a licensed and certified athletic trainer since 2007.
