Angie Miller earned a bachelor’s degree at Ball State University and a master’s degree at Ohio University. After a short stint at Baxter Physical Therapy for one year, Angie moved back to Indiana in 1991 to be a teacher and athletic trainer at Avon High School where she has worked for over 20 years. Angie’s involvement with high school students has extended beyond working as an athletic trainer. Since 1991, she has served as the Fellowship for Christian Athletes Advisor. Angie also has served as an advisor for Students Against Destructive Decisions, advisor and coordinator for the NCAA Stay in Bounds Program Ambassadors, a representative to Avon School Corporation’s Drug Testing Community Task Force and has been a member of the Avon Student Assistance Program. She has been an instructor and counselor for numerous Indiana Pacer Student Athletic Trainer workshops. Angie has been involved with the IATA having served as the IATA High School Representative (1994 – 96) and Treasurer (1996 – 2002).
