EXECUTIVE COUNCILThe Executive Council is the leadership team that oversees the overall direction of the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association and has voting rights. This group includes elected officers and representatives who guide the association’s vision, set priorities, and ensure that all committees are supported in their work. This includes committees such as Communications, Development, Professional Development, COPA, Community and Connections, GLAA State Representative, and Governmental Affairs. |
CECAT REPRESENTATIVESThe IATA partners with the Central Ethics and Compliance Advisory Team (CECAT) through appointed representatives. These individuals serve as the link between IATA members and the larger district and national athletic training organizations, ensuring Indiana’s voice is represented in broader conversations about policy, ethics, and professional advancement. |
SPECIAL COMMITTEESSpecial Committees focus on specific areas that directly impact IATA members and the profession of athletic training in Indiana. These include committees such as Budget, History and Archives, Ats Care - Indiana, Research, Scholarship, and Honors & Awards. Each committee works on targeted initiatives that strengthen the profession, provide member resources, and elevate awareness of athletic training statewide. |
EXTERNAL COMMITTEESExternal Committees are collaborative groups that connect the IATA with organizations and initiatives outside of the association. These include representation on ISMA Committee of Sports Medicine, and IHSAA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. By participating in these committees, IATA ensures the profession is recognized, advocated for, and integrated into broader healthcare and athletic communities. |
