The Indiana Athletic Trainers’ Association Education Committee is inviting proposals for professional, student, and online presentations. The proposals are evaluated at the end of each quarter. Presenters are able to apply for IATA’s Annual Meeting (November), Summer Meeting (July), and online (continuous). Athletic Trainers and affiliated professionals are encouraged to submit proposals for feature presentations and/or learning labs.
Presentation topics for professionals should address athletic training domain(s) beyond entry-level knowledge or address a topic that would make a valuable contribution to the understanding of the practice or pedagogy of athletic training. Topics for students should address entry-level knowledge related to the athletic training role delineation study/practice analysis.
The IATA Education Committee will record the online session. A committee member will be assigned to each speaker to help determine the best location, method, and time to record the session. Additional presentation details will be requested for online sessions.
Proposal submissions must include the proposal application form, a structured abstract (250 word limit), list of goals and objectives, and speaker curriculum vitae (3 page limit). The abstract should include the following headers: Rationale, Objective, Description, and Key Words (3 words). All proposals must be submitted via the web-form located on IATA’s website. Any questions should be directed to the IATA Education Committee Chair, Chris Curless. Each submission will undergo review by the IATA Education Committee.
Submissions are accepted year-round and reviewed at the end of each quarter.
